Prof. Dr. Stephan Hankammer

Stephan Hankammer has been Junior Professor of Sustainable Management and Entrepreneurship at Alanus University’s Department of Business since 2018. He is the head of the B.A. Sustainable Management program and conducts research, in particular, on entrepreneurial innovations for sustainable development. His focus is mainly on the development and implementation of sustainable business model innovations, the implementation of regenerative and circular business strategies and the collaboration with competitors, customers, science and civil society for successful sustainable change.

From 2014 to 2018, Stephan Hankammer was a research associate at the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management at RWTH Aachen University. He wrote his doctoral thesis, which was awarded the Friedrich Wilhelm Prize of RWTH Aachen University in 2019, on the topic of collaborative value creation from a sustainability perspective. He continues to be associated with RWTH Aachen University and the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management as an affiliated researcher.
