Future topic – Interdisciplinary – Web seminar at 6 universities in NRW

Creating value instead of throwing it away

Zirkel.Training presents: The idea of sustainable management in cycles

What is it about?

The unchecked consumption of resources in our current economy is not future-oriented. But what do sustainables alternatives look like? An alternative to our wasteful society is the idea of a Circular Economy. Their goal: To hold materials and products in cycle for as long a possible in order to create new value while simultaneously conserving resources and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The NRW-wide events series Zirkel. Training highlights what this means concretely and from the perspectives of different disciplines. Experts from 6 universities took on stations of the Product Life Cycle (from Design to Recycling) and gave insights into the Research fields. Project presentations from entrepreneurial practice and panel discussions supplemented the scientific impulses.
